Hey it's me, the husband of your fabulous Norwex consultant Megan. Most people call me Mike, four special littles call me Dad. Once a month or so I'll be sharing my personal experiences with Norwex with you here on the blog.
I'm in the unique position to get to be a stay-at-home dad to four great kids. So what does that mean to you? Why should you care? Well, it means that every day I get to use all of those wonderful Norwex products you've either purchased or are considering purchasing. I have a few that I use all the time and I'll tell you why they are my favorite.
First, a little background. I have a deeply embedded, and semi-crazy belief that if the kitchen is dirty that the rest of the house will spiral out of control and turn into a trash dump. This causes me to be a bit obsessive about our kitchen being clean. How is that even possible with 3 meals a day, 26 daily snack times, art projects, Meg's baking binges, and the kitchen island being the catch-all for every knick knack known to man. It takes constant cleaning.
Before Norwex, I had my cleaning routine. First, Get a wet dish towel, than wipe of the counters with a "green" cleaner. Next, wipe again with a different wet dish towel. Finally, use half a roll of paper towels to dry everything off. Repeat 2-3x per day. At the end of this routine I'd be left with an empty paper towel roll, 1/10th less of a bottle of cleaner, a pile of stinky, wet dish towels and an hour of my time gone.
With the Norwex Envirocloth I just wet it and wipe the counter down. That's it! It's so easy it sounds crazy. When Meg first told me how it worked, I still secretly cleaned the old way when she wasn't around. After a few months, I slowly learned that this was the best (and fastest) way to do it. I don't have to buy paper towels (saving money and rain forests!) and I've cut out an entire load of laundry a day because I don't need to wash wet, stinky rags.
Don't wait a few months like I did to figure it out. Start saving time and money today - for your health!
